SEMI-MATTE FINISH YOU'LL LOVE 

Fiberlogy FiberSatin makes 3D printed models look as if they were not a product of a 3D printer. The high layer bonding and the slightly glossy, matte finish conceal the drawbacks of additive printing technology, such as the visible boundaries between individual layers.

FiberSatin is an alternative to silk filaments for those looking for a matte and refined finish. In addition to its unique visual properties, FiberSatin is also distinguished by its unique texture.

To the touch, it resembles filaments with the addition of carbon fiber, thanks to which it diffuses the light, giving off a subtle shine.

FiberSatin is easy to print with just like traditional PLA.

To achieve a successful print, you can use the existing Fiberlogy EASY PLA profile or other filament profile from the PLA family which means less time trying out new settings and a quick and easy start.

The following parameters are only suggested print settings for this material. To ensure the best print quality, it is necessary to choose the appropriate settings for a specific printer and printing conditions.

Bed Temperature 50°C
Closed chamber not required
Fan 75-100%
Flowrate 95-105%
Printing Speed <60 mm/s
Surface PEI, glass, masking tape
Retraction (direct) 2-3 mm
Retraction (bowden) 4-6 mm
Retraction Speed 20-45 mm/s
Drying conditions 40°C / 4h
Notes Due to the strong adhesion, damage to the bed surface (e.g. PEI) may occur. We recommend printing on a tape.
