Durability + Low Friction
PETG+PTFE is ideal for low friction and high durability applications. Its 10% PTFE (Teflon) content results in a filament with excellent tribological properties, perfect for producing sliding elements and gears with low to moderate loads.
The material retains all the features that make PETG filament highly valued: it is easy to print, offers high adhesion, is chemically resistant and exhibits excellent impact resistance. At the same time, the addition of PTFE significantly reduces friction, resulting in enhanced durability and extended lifespan of printed components. The filament is heat-resistant up to 70°C.
PETG+PTFE is a reliable filament for engineering and industrial applications where friction reduction and wear resistance are the key factors. It is ideal for creating both functional prototypes and end-use parts.
*Tribology is the science and engineering of understanding friction, lubrication and wear phenomena for interacting surfaces in relative motion.
