Effective protection against microbes
Fiberlogy CPE ANTIBAC is an innovative material with high mechanical and temperature resistance combined with antimicrobial properties. Considering the resistance to high temperatures, it surpasses e.g. PET-G or PCTG that belong to the same polymer family. It is resistant to temperatures up to 110°C and the effects of UV radiation, chemicals, and lipids.
*CPE ANTIBAC is odorless, as well as BPA, BPS and styrene-free. Thanks to silver nanoparticles it has antibacterial properties.
The microbiological tests performed show biocidal properties both of the filaments and 3D prints. Research results confirm the effectiveness in reducing the number of bacteria, among others Escherichia coli (by 100%) and Staphylococcus aureus (by 92.4%). In the repeated testing, a result of 100% and 97%, respectively, was obtained.
Due to its unique properties, CPE ANTIBAC can be used for prints exposed to microbial growth, such as plastic elements found in public spaces, laboratory equipment, as well as clinical accessories.

Printing Ideas and Applications:
- PUBLIC SPACE: light switches, door handles
- MEDICINE: clinical equipment, accessories, finishing elements
- ELECTRONICS: keyboards, pin-pads, housings
- HOUSE: elements exposed to dirt, pot handles
How to print?
The following parameters are suggested print settings for this material. To ensure the best print quality, it is necessary to choose the appropriate settings for a specific printer and printing conditions.
Nozzle Temperature | 260-280°C |
Bed Temperature | 110-120°C |
Closed chamber | not required |
Fan | 0-15% |
Flowrate | 95-105% |
Printing Speed | < 100 mm/s |
Surface | masking tape, PVA glue, hairspray |
Retraction (direct) | 1-2 mm |
Retraction (bowden) | 4-6 mm |
Retraction Speed | 20-45 mm/s |
Drying conditions | 60°C / 4h |
Notes | Due to the strong adhesion to the bed, it is not recommended to print directly on its surface or on glass. This can lead to damage. We recommend using a masking tape, and to remove as soon as finished printing. |
