Filaflex SEBS by Recreus is a high-performance rubber-based TPE (SEBS — the hydrogenated, tougher cousin of SBS rubber). It combines the flexibility and durability Filaflex is famous for with properties the rest of the flexible family doesn't offer: electrical insulation, waterproofness, and outstanding chemical and thermal resistance — with a premium soft-touch, rubber-like surface finish straight off the printer.

At Shore 90A it's flexible but manageable, and unlike most flexibles it prints reliably on any printer — including bowden systems. Its hydrophobic nature makes it a natural choice for outdoor and wet environments, and it's a great PVC alternative for parts that need to last.

Recommended Print Settings

• Nozzle: 245°C
• Bed: 70–80°C
• Speed: ~30–60 mm/s on a 0.4 mm nozzle (5 mm³/s volumetric); slow the first layer to ~20 mm/s
• Retraction: 0.8–1.2 mm at 30 mm/s with a small z-hop keeps stringing in check
