Flex, Foamed

FiberFlex Aero is a flexible filament built around particles that expand when heated, so the same filament can print dense and firm or light and foam-like depending on the temperature it's extruded at.

That control extends within a single print: run the nozzle cooler for a firmer, more abrasion-resistant surface, and warmer for a softer, cushioning fill - layer by layer, without changing spools.

The tradeoff for that flexibility is efficiency: at full foaming, a print can end up roughly half the weight of a solid equivalent using proportionally less filament, with a soft-touch matte finish.

How to Print:

Fiberlogy hasn't published nozzle or bed temperature figures for Aero specifically - density and hardness are tuned by adjusting nozzle temperature within your printer's normal range for flexible filaments, so expect some trial and error to dial in the foaming level you want.
